what happened next
After the demise of the Brinsleys in 1975, Schwartz and Andrews joined Graham Parker and the Rumour. Nick Lowe forged a successful solo career and played Friars in 1977 on the Stiffs tour. Schwarz was also briefly in Ducks Deluxe before forming The Rumour (and then joining with Graham Parker)

Kala, formed by Shiva and Maha Dev of Quintessence made only one album.
