what happened next
Huge success after Airport really eluded them and this line up imploded in 1978. The Garvey and McMaster nucleus saw them with a new version of The Motors through a third album in 1980 and then they had properly split by 1982. Seems as though the members are still in the business so to speak, but nothing high profile.

The Jolt had split by 1979.

odds and trivia
Their second album, given they had had hit singles, didn't do as well as the record company hoped for. A bit of market research suggested the problem may have been the album cover which featured the band's faces so the album cover was changed
