Friars association with Oxfam and Help The Aged

Friars has had a long association with Oxfam, donating not only membership fees from the current gigs but throughout the years.

Additionally, Friars presented an Oxfam benefit gig in 1973 featuring Gong and here's David Stopps presenting the cheque to Oxfam after the gig.

As can be seen below, a lot of money was collected for Oxfam from the recent gigs: Here's the letter Friars sent and Oxfam's reply:
