My
name is Chris Oldham lead singer and guitarist of Wycombe band Crossfire
we supported Jack the Lad on Saturday July 9th 1977 and Split Enz on
Saturday 4th Feb. 1978. I remember the gigs very well
ihave very fond memories of playing with Jack The Lad, was a great gig
and they let us come back on stage several times for encores. We were
voted next to Marillion as best local band that year something we are
still proud of to this day. Nice to be mentioned on the friars

Split Enz
eventually morphed (with other
musicians) into Crowded House who became enormous as did the Finn brothers
themselves.
