what happened next
 Talking Heads went massive and disbanded in the 1990s. Byrne became an established solo artist while Frantz and Weymouth created the long running Tom Tom Club still going in 2015. Talking Heads reunited in 2002 for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

As for Dire Straits, they were never heard of again.....only kidding. They became one of the world's biggest bands till 1995 where Mark Knopfler retains a solo career and high profile
