The Undertones Internal problems led to the band ultimately
breaking up. Feargal Sharkey had solo success including the No 1 A Good
Heart and got into radio production and became a bigwig in the Radio
Authority. The band reformed in 1999 and continue to exist with the
original line up, minus Sharkey.
As for The Knack...remember My Sharona?
Thought so. Voted best support band of 1979 in the Friars members poll.
Doug Fieger passed away in 2010
The Chords
lasted till 1981 and the original line up reformed for a 2010 tour. They had a
hit with Maybe Tomorrow in early 1980
