Dr Feelgood went stellar by 1976 with the live Stupidity album which went to Number 1 featured a free single, partly recorded at Friars in May 1975. Johnson left in 1977. Dr Feelgood carried on and still play today albeit with no original members, the last remaining original member, Lee Brilleaux, died in 1994. johnson retired due to ill health in 2013 but made an astonishing comback in 2014
