An amazing gig and one of the last with all four original
members. Call me odd, but I do remember Pete Farndon’s bass amps had a big
yellow light on which illuminated in varying degrees of brightness
dependant on how much and how hard he played his guitar. Strange how you
remember things like that. I vaguely remember The Bureau - made up of a
lot of Geno period Dexy’s members. I do remember them coming on stage
though and shouting "get out of the fucking bar!"
I remember this for Chrissie Hynde’s
stage presence and some great great songs like Message of Love, a
classic of the early 80s and which I still play today |
